(Wichita, KS, October 23, 2015) – KFDI, the only radio newsroom in Kansas manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year, is having their annual Christmas in a Box packing event and announced that NCRI (National Catastrophe Restoration, Inc.) will be the exclusive community sponsor this year!
KFDI’S Christmas in a Box goal is to touch as many of the troops overseas as possible, to let them know we support them and are thinking of them back home while they serve their country, away from their home and family. Hundreds of volunteers, local companies and organizations make it possible to pack boxes to send to our troops for Christmas. Participants are asked to donate items like Christmas decorations, toiletries, snacks, CD’s, and cards to go in care packages for our troops overseas during the holidays.
The Christmas in a Box packing event will take place on November 20, 2015 from 9am-4pm at NCRI, located at 8447 E. 35th St. N in Wichita, KS. This event is open to everyone. Come pack a box for our troops; we need your help November 20th at NCRI.
